Tesco

Yate shopping centre was constructed in the 1960's as one development. In the 1980's East walk was extended and Tesco arrived as a foodstore with its old store on South Walk becoming home and ware. In 2010 Tesco sought to expand this popular store with a new stilted store to reflect its great popularity and to ensure sufficient car parking could be maintained. This new trading space of 100,000 sqft acted as a catalyst for further upgrades to this popular centre by the owners. A modern, environmentally friendly store with smooth cladding panels, timber features, deep canopies and a rotund coffee shop to provide a suitable gateway to the centre.
